In this tutorial you will learn how to combine different images to create the cartoon background and funny toad character from the real toad picture. - Add translucent light green circles to selected areas with the Brush Tool, use Opacity and Flow parameters around 50%.
- Go to Image > Levels and move white right and gray middle markers left and black left marker right a bit to make image lighter and more contrast.
- Create a new layer and add new translucent light green spots to the marked areas.
- Create a white circle with the Ellipse Tool and apply Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay effect to it.
- Merge layers, then go to Filter > Lens Correction, and apply Vignette filter.
- Correct eyeball shape, erase top and bottom eyelid line.
- Add a new black circle.
- And one more small white circle:
- Make the same things for the second eye.
- Merge all toad layers and apply Stroke and Inner Glow effects to created shape.
